Park Slopers are not happy about New York Methodist Hospital's plans to expand its campus near Seventh and Eighth Avenues, and residents of Cobble Hill, where Long Island College Hospital cut services and almost closed, are incredulous. An op-ed in Brooklyn Paper pretty much says that Slopers should quit whining and be thankful for the situation. Not only does Methodist want to offer more services, but they've hosted public meetings and took the community's concerns into consideration and altered their designs. Agree or disagree?
