Casa Bella Artes Has New Renderings, New Name

New, 5 comments

The Blackhouse-developed residential building that will be replacing a small red brick church at 534 West 29th Street, formerly known as Casa Bella Artes (Latin for "Cottage War Skills"), has been rebranded Casa Moderne ("Modern Cottage") according to a report by The Real Deal. Some other new details about the ten-story building: it will have six units, all duplexes and triplexes, ranging from 1,500 to 3,000 square feet. The prices will range from $3.75 million to $9 million. The penthouse will have a roof deck with a pool. Blackhouse, whose other projects in the area include the insanely fancy Soori High Line and the Hotel Americano, expects to break ground in early 2014.
