102 Greene Street in Soho is a building that has seen better days. But its best days may be in front of it, as the Landmarks Preservation Commission just approved plans to replace the two stories that were lost in a fire in the '40s, restore the cast iron facade, and turn it into condos. Similar plans were approved in 2007, but the project never got off the ground, and the ownership has changed since then. Walter Marin is the new architect. [CurbedWire Staff; previously]
