Developer Jody L. Kriss, in an interview with the Times, lifts the veil of secrecy from 415 East Sixth Street, the former Anshei Meseritz synagogue where the congregation's rabbi made a deal for the building's development before his death in June. The project, which has already begun construction, will keep the synagogue on the building's ground floor and add three loft apartments above. (Other Kriss developments in the pipeline include a four-unit building on 10th Street in Park Slope.) [NYT; previously]
