MIDTOWN WEST—A tipster sent along some photos from the ever-changing West 57th Street. At 157, One57 had its undulating canopy delivered under the cover of night. HUDSON SQUARE—Hudson Square is getting $7.6 million of funding for phase one of the Hudson Square Connection Business Improvement District's streetscape improvement plan, with the money being provided by the New York City Economic Development Corporation and City Council, with matching funds from the Hudson Square Connection. The phase will involve giving the park at Spring Street and Sixth Avenue new seating, lighting, and trees, turning Spring Street into a "main street" with "distinctive lighting," and installing WalkNYC pedestrian wayfinding signs.
