Early on in the long, off-topic comment section of this week's Pricespotter property, jbnyc correctly identified the unit as being a part of Woodstock Tower on East 42nd Street, but not one person named the right priceprobably because it's listed for an odd $296,500. No one seemed to think this 350-square-foot studio was worth very much and no one really cared for the neighborhood (and the first person to say so started a lengthy Brooklyn vs. Manhattan argument), but the place actually sold for $329,000 two years ago. The unit came back to market at the beginning of October, and the sellers didn't even try to make a profit, listing it for $310,000, which says something about the place's lack of a appeal.
