With Thanksgiving on the horizon, it makes sense to assess the history and prevalence of the city's "abundant" population of turkeys. Right? Right. Since Battery Park City's Zelda is somewhat of a Curbed obsession, it's great to know that these fine fowls can also be found in Staten Island and the Bronx, which is a relief because the birds are apparently now back, with a vengeance, "from the brink of extinction in the Northeast."
