WILLIAMSBURG—Tomorrow at 6:30, at PS 84 (at 250 Berry Street), Two Trees will give a presentation to Brooklyn Community Board 1 at the second Uniform Land Use Review Procedure (ULURP) meeting for the Domino redevelopment. A group that opposes the project is claiming that Two Trees has not exactly been forthcoming about its true plans for the site, and they also plan on presenting at the hearing. Should be a raucous good time. [CurbedWire Inbox; previously]
MIDTOWN WEST—The Sahara Group has released a statement that, despite reports to the contrary, it will not be selling The Plaza, Dream Downtown, and Grosvenor House in London. From Sahara chairman Subrata Roy:
In light of recent reports stating our intentions to sell The Plaza and Dream Downtown in New York and the Grosvenor House in London, I would like to take this opportunity to set the record straight. Sahara is not looking to divest itself of these important assets at this time. This speculation has arisen because we have received offers, but that does not mean we have any intention of selling. We view these properties as investments in our future and plan on developing them further with our partners in each location.
