North Brooklyn may be having its big hotel renaissance, but let's not forget about the rest of the borough. In Sunset Park, Brownstoner reports, this futuristic six-story hotel is rising at 457 39th Street, between Fourth and Fifth avenues. So... Holey facade, Batman! Plans call for 70 units, and it's designed by Michael Kang Architects, whose hospitality projects in the NYC area have included mostly unattractive chain hotels. At least they're thinking outside the box with this one?
