Three-Bedroom In 40 Bond Tries For Resale At $8.3 Million

New, 9 comments

It's been a busy year for the Herzog & de Meuron-designed 40 Bond Street. Since May 2012, six of the building's 27 units have changed hands, and now another is giving it a go. Unit 6C has been with the same owners (Munico Properties LLC) since it was purchased as a sponsor unit in 2007 for just over $5.7 million, and after a few tries on the rental market, it's been listed for $8.3 million. It's a three-bedroom, three-and-a-half bathroom with a sprawling 33-foot by 17-foot great room. The floors, kitchen cabinets, and wood paneling in the master bathrooms are "finished in Austrian smoked oak treated with natural oil," and there's a "wet room in seamless Corian embossed with the building's signature graffiti pattern."
