The city has slapped Jenga-like tower o' condos 56 Leonard with a stop work order related to the sloooowly rising structure's scaffolding, and a tipster tells NY YIMBY that workers have been absent from the site for a week. Apparently, there's also some kind of shake-up with the concrete contractor that's causing other delays, but it's also normal for megaprojects to face setbacks like these. Especially 56 Leonard, because its angular, irregular floorplates require more construction-related savvy than most. Thanks for that, Herzog and de Meuron. [New York YIMBY; previously]
