The newly revamped Queens Museum re-opens to the public tomorrow after a $69 million. The Times' art critic Holland Cotter compliments the museum's now "semi-logical layout" and praises the "high-ceiling, sky-lit atrium that has the feel, in line with this museum's democratizing spirit, of a community commons." Cotter notes that the cost may see like a lot for a small institution, but he points out that its the same amount the Met is spending to renovate its Fifth Avenue Plaza. [NYT; previously]
