A southbound Metro North train derailed at 7:20 a.m. in the Bronx near the Spuyten Duyvil station under the Henry Hudson Bridge. Several of the train's seven cars left the tracks, injuring more than 60 and killing at least four people. The MTA and FDNY are not sure what caused the accident, but a detailed investigation will take place. A freight train derailed near the same station over the summer. Service on the Hudson line is suspended indefinitely. [NYT and NBC New York; photo via AP]
