It's Not East Being Green

New, 3 comments

The notorious developer Robert Scarano, once banned from building in New York, got back into the game with a now-open ecotastic building in Brighton Beach called Bright 'N Green. It's not a very pretty building, but Scarano is quite proud of it: "We've overdone everything. You can't have people come and say it was too expensive, or you took too long, or there were too many problems. I've had a lot of fun working on this building." The units are listed for $325,000 to $895,000, and you can check out floorplans here. [Brooklyn Daily; previously]
