Conversions of the Future

New, 1 comment

A developer purchased the 50th floor of Murray Hill's Corinthian condo tower for $14.6 million, with plans to convert the 16,000 square feet into 15 apartments. The seller was Pfizer, which used the 21-bedrooms, 25-bath expanse as "a corporate executive suite for visiting dignitaries and employees." Guess business travel ain't what it used to be, so buyer Gaia Real Estate says the carved-out new units will range from studios to 4BRs, with prices to be determined. Construction will start next month, and sales will launch by Summer 2014. [TRD]
