Brooklyn's ever-growing green space along the East River selected a developer/operator for a marina that will be adajcent to the Pier 5 picnic peninsula. Edgewater Resources, whose sole focus is marinas, will create and run a 320,000-square-foot marina with 125-slips on four floating docks. Brooklyn Bridge Park also selected United Skates of America Inc. (best skate-related company name ever? yes.) to operate the roller skating rink on Pier 2, which will open next year.
