As one school giveth, another taketh away. As Manhattan Marymount College (for some reason) builds a dormitory right next to Cooper Union, it turns out that Cooper Union is trying to sell off one of its student housing buildings. It's the circle of dorms. A listing uncovered by EV Grieve reveals that the cash-strapped college has put 29 Third Avenue on the market. The building offers housing for 178 students, with most of the apartments consisting of two adjacent double rooms. The school also wants to enter into a short-term leaseback once they sell the dorm.
