Cooper Triangle is set to get a makeover as part of the Astor Place overhaul, but before that can happen, the city needs to kick out a fury horde of longtime tenants. The Department of Design and Construction shutdown the small plaza in front of the Cooper Union for "three weeks of intensive rodent baiting/monitoring without outside interference."
