Last summer, sales began at One Morningside Park, a 22-story condominium on the corner of West 110th Street and Manhattan Avenue. The 54-unit building is currently more than 60 percent sold, with certain units pushing the $1,300 per square foot mark. The architects, GF55 Partners, claim that the building's design tries to bring "the exterior into the interior." Without comment on this lofty design goal, it is safe to say that they picked a good area. There's a lot going on around Morningside Heights, including the development of the BP gas station on Frederick Douglass Circle a block to the east. [NYT; previously]
