Almost a year later, the Buildings Department has officially revoked the license of crane operator Paul Geer, whose negligence led to a crane collapse at TF Cornerstone's luxury East Coast development in Long Island City last January. In the immediate aftermath of the accident, Geer had his license suspended pending an investigation. Administrative Law Judge Tynia Richard found Geer to be in violation of several local and federal laws, and his employer, Cross Country Construction, was fined upwards of $64,000. The accident left seven construction workers seriously injured. [TRD; previously]
