Brooklyn-based developer CS Management recently filed plans for a 44-unit, six-story building at 420 Tompkins Avenue in Bed-Stuy. The building will be designed by Charles Mallea Architect and will feature an exercise room, laundry room, bike storage and lounge. CS bought the former paint store in 2006 for a little over $1 million, and has been quietly purchasing sites in Brooklyn, including a five-building, mixed use development in Park Slope for $8.5 million in September.
