Art Dealer Unloads West Village Apartment/Gallery for $10.3M

Although it spent nine months on the market, the 43 Clarkson Street apartments belonging to art dealer Gian Enzo Sperone have sold for $10.3 million, only 5.5 percent off the original asking price. The apartments, currently two separate units (although there are plans in place to combine them) cover three floors of the building and total 5,725-square-feet. They include a living room with 18-foot ceilings, ideal, of course, for displaying art, as well as a an expansive gallery with wood ceiling beams in the other apartment. The identity of the buyer is hidden behind an LLC.
