Yesterday, EV Grieve spotted renderings for a new 10-story building rising at East Houston and Suffolk Streets, and today, Bowery Boogie reminds us that the site has a trouble past. The lot is hardly vacantplans were filed for the site back in 2008, construction started in 2009, a foundation was poured, the steel structure started to rise, then it stalled in 2010. It doesn't look like the sit has changed hands, so we're just going to assume the owner and developer got it together and this won't be a shitshow... [Bowery Boogie; previously]
