Yesterday we came to the realization that maps of New York City fall into two categories: Useful and Super Mario Brothers Themed. This new interactive map from Sweeten, a site that matches homeowners with renovation professionals, definitely falls into the former category. The map features every residential renovation filed with the Department of Buildings between 2003 and 2013. Not only that, but you can have it filter itself by price, as well as zoom in and click on individual projects to get all the DOB information. It is, in short, very cool, whether you want to find out what's happening on a site where you're not sure of the exact address or just poke around your own neighborhood for a while.
