A four-story brownstone at 29 Schermerhorn Street in Brooklyn Heights will, believe it or not, hit the auction block on December 11. The house is currently configured as eight studios plus a garden level one-bedroom, and it's been owned by the same person since 1978. There have been several tax liens and lis pendens on the property, and it's being sold at the request of the owners' guardian. It will be delivered vacant, but it's being sold "as is" with no interior viewings. There's also "deferred maintenance needed throughout"i.e. it's in bad shape. [Brownstoner]
