Even though Alphabet Plaza, the new 12-story building at Avenue D and East Houston Street, is pretty far along in construction, we had yet to see a rendering of what the 135-unit project will look like when it's complete. Well, the veil of mystery has been lifted. Reps for the development sent over the above image, and they said that the scaffolding came down last week (so the photo posted Monday was already outdated). Model units should be ready in early 2014, and rents were previously reported to range from $2,500 to $3,600 a month. Kahen Properties is the developer, and amenities will include a doorman, gym, rooftop terrace, bike storage, and a tenant recreation room, plus a washer/dryer and "built-in bluetooth speakers" in every unit.
