First Puck Building Penthouse in Contract for $27.5 Million

New, 25 comments

After a protracted battle with the Landmarks Preservation Commission, Jared Kushner's Puck Penthouses are approved and under construction (one is already finished), and that means that although they're not officially on the market yet, they are ready for superrich people to start laying claim to them. The Journal reports that one of the six units—Penthouse IV, the second largest—has already entered contract for $27.5 million. Expected to be finished in late 2014, Penthouse IV is 5,919 square feet with three beds and five-and-a-half baths, as well as an additional 2,000 square feet of terraces, which the broker says is what drew the buyer in.
