In East Williamsburg, a group called Brooklyn Classic is looking to convert a steel factory at 319 Frost Street into a 2,000-person music venue. The plan (seemingly ripped straight from an episode of The Simpsons) requires liquor license approval from the local community board, though the application process has been put on hold pending further outreach efforts. However, the current tenants, Eliou & Scopelitis Steel Fabrication, claimed to know nothing of the project. [DNAinfo; photo via Joanna_Pan/Curbed Photo Pool]
