As expected, another dilapidated Brooklyn library will be put up for sale. Like the Brooklyn Heights branch, the Boerum Hill branch will be sold off to avoid a $9 million repair bill. The library will be relocated in the forthcoming 32-story BAM Cultural District tower planned by Two Trees. The Boerum Hill library, a Carnegie building, will be sold once the new library is complete around 2017. [Brooklyn Paper]
