Finding office space in New York just got easier. 42Floors, a commercial real estate search platform, recently secured $12.5M in funding to expand their presence in Manhattan, as well as nationally. The firm added 500 offices in New York, bringing the total to over 1,770 listings at last count.
The site focuses on surfacing spaces under 5,000 square feet — the size startups are usually looking for. Darren Nix, one of 42Floors' founders, explains, "Small-ish companies with 5-25 employees have a hard time finding a great office. We're fixing the process with tons of choices, big photos, and easy search."
