Despite being the most valuable townhouse (aka, the one with the highest tax assessment) in Brooklyn, 40 Willow Place has a checkered sales history. It has a way of finding and losing buyers, and after selling for $7.3 million last August, it reappeared on the market asking $7.95 million only a few months later. Now it's found a buyer again, according to StreetEasy. We don't yet know the final sale price (anyone heard?), but this place just gets curiouser and curiouser.
