Former Morgan Stanley CEO John Mack Lists $22.5M UES Condo

New, 41 comments

Back in 2009, John Mack, then the CEO of Morgan Stanley, plunked down $13.5 million to pick up a 33-foot-wide limestone mansion at 165 East 70th Street. The broker said that the house was in pretty rough shape and needed renovations, and it seems like that work might finally be coming to an end, as Mack has listed his penthouse in the Leonori for $22.5 million. A tipster sent along the listing for the duplex condo at 26 East 63rd Street, and the the brokerbabble says the 4BR/5.5BA place was "completely renovated in the spirit of the Dorchester in London."

The duplex has a large terrace and solarium, offering views of Central Park and Manhattan, plus a maid's room, a huge renovated kitchen, 11-foot ceilings, and a living room with the building's only working fireplace. We hope they left the floral prints and stuffy furnishings out of the new place, which, by the way, includes a 12-car garage.
