This week's top dish from Eater NY, Curbed's restaurant, bar, and nightlife blog?
1) Financial District/Battery Park City: By 2014, a revamped World Financial Center will include?above an Eataly-esque market?a food court with up to 14 restaurants, among them a branch of the much-hyped LA burger chain Umami Burger.
2) Cobble Hill: The sign hung in the window of 203 Court Street that read "Momofuku Noodle Bar Brooklyn Coming Soon" was a lie. All lies!
3) West Village: In yet another sign of the invasion of all LA restaurants, popular joint Ramen Jinya is also making its way to our shores later this year.
4) Greenwich Village: Check out what Village restaurants looked like in the 50s and 60s. Nostalgia alert: one of the atmospheric, artsy hangouts frequented by literary types is now a Qdoba.
5) Crown Heights: The Brooklyn Flea's Crown Heights project will open this year. Inside the massive 150,000-foot space co-purchased with Goldman Sachs will be beer and food halls as well as a "food incubator," whatever that is. Whatever, we're still excited!
