The Greenpoint Branch of the Brooklyn Public Library is a not-very-pretty little brick building, so Friends of Greenpoint Library is seeking an artist to beautify the building with a street mural. The mural would face Norman Avenue, and it would be painted on three sections that more than 13-feet wide and 5-feet high. The library will provide eco-friendly paint and the chosen artist gets $1000. Sounds like a sweet deal. [Greenpointers via Brokelyn]
