Crown Heights has been feeling the winds of change for a few years now, and DK Real Estate Group quietly tapped into the neighborhood's real estate market with a small new rental development at 147 Rogers Avenue. The eight-unit building is now complete, and four of the apartments have hit the market. Seven of the apartments are 650-square-foot one-bedrooms with balconies, and there is one two-bedroom duplex. Four one-bedrooms are currently listed with Apts & Lofts, and rents range from $2,150 to $2,500. All units are no-fee and move-ins start March 1.
The building was designed by architect Kyu Myeon Lee, and apartments have 9.5-foot ceilings, dark oak flooring, stainless steel kitchen appliances, European cabinetry, and energy-efficient Bosch washers and dryers. French doors open onto the wood-deck balconies, and the rooftop is a shared terrace covered in blue stone. The photo gallery above has both the professional listing photos, and a few others sent to us by the developer. The apartments look nice, and units with outdoor space are rare in Crown Heights, so we wouldn't be surprised if these are snapped up in a hurry, even if the rents seem a little high.
Two open houses will be hosted this weekend, starting at noon on Saturday and Sunday, if you want to see the place for yourself.
