New Site is a Treasure Trove of Historic Brooklyn Photos

We love any collection of old photos of New York City, so new site Brooklyn Visual Heritage had to do nothing to get into our good graces other than exist. The site, which we spotted via Brownstoner, already has images from several partners, including the Brooklyn Historical Society, Brooklyn Museum, and Brooklyn Public Library. (The site itself was created in partnership with Pratt.) All of the collections are pretty cool. Here's one, for example, on the housing boom in Brooklyn after World War II, another on the architectural detailing of 11 Cranberry Street, and a third on lovely views of Brooklyn. The whole thing is worth a look?we'll certainly be back.
