Welcome to Cornerspotter, Curbed's game in which you try to identify the location and/or identity of a particular building or streetscape in a historic photograph. Impress us and your fellow Curbed readers with your uncanny insight into New York City and its past!
This Beaux-Arts building still stands, but the ornate loggia is long gone. It's had several uses over the last century, and it will soon be returning to its origins. Since the architecture is so distinctive, we're not giving any more clues as to what or where this building is. If you know, drop your answer in the comments.
