Watch Subway Seats Come Alive, Bubbles Spill From Buildings

New York Biotopes from Lena Steinkühler on Vimeo.

Currently, New York is a slushy, gross mess waiting for Nemo the blizzard to dump a foot of snow on the city, which means it is the ideal time to escape to a bright, warm New York that's so brimming with life, even the infrastructure springs into action. Created by German graphic design student Lena Steinkühler, the trippy film, called New York Biotopes, makes dandelions out of streetlights, seaweed out of subway turnstiles, and bubbles spill from skyscrapers. It's like an acid trip for the urban explorer.
