The century-old Jarmulowsky Bank building is being preserved and renovated into a hotel, and the project will include a new, six-story building next door at 60 Canal Street. Permits are on file with the DOB to demolish the existing structure and an application is pending for excavation for a new six-story building. The same architect of the Jarmulowsky reno, Ron Castellano, is listed on the permits. [Bowery Boogie; previously]
