1899 Turtle Bay Townhouse on the Market for $4.3 Million

New, 4 comments

This more-than-a-century-old four-story townhouse off Beekman Place at 415 East 50th Street has been occupied by a single owner for almost 50 years, and, taking that into consideration, it's actually looking pretty good. Sure, there are a few windows that could stand to be replaced, probably a new HVAC system or something, but now that it's on the market for $4.3 million, a new owner probably wouldn't have to go crazy with the renovations. But then again, if he or she wanted to... "Ample FAR permits additional square footage, thus presenting a new buyer with a wonderful opportunity to create a fine, new customized townhouse residence in the heart of New York City." Tear it down! Rip them all down!
