Heartwalk Heads to Dumbo; Video Tour of Tiny Harlem Room

DUMBO?This 30-foot heart-shaped installation made out of wood salvaged from Sandy, which also spent some time in Times Square around Valentine's Day, has now moved to Dumbo. "Heartwalk" will remain in the hurricane-stricken neighborhood?specifically, in the Pearl Street Triangle (Water Street at Pearl Street)?through April 30. [CurbedWire Inbox; official]

HARLEM?One reader, who is also one-half of a cross-dressing comedy duo, sent in a video he'd taken that is a virtual tour of his 9-foot by 6-foot bedroom, which he sublets in a Harlem apartment at 130th Street and Lenox Avenue. As opposed to folks who post videos of their small New York apartments who have the means to make them all cool and movable, like Graham Hill (find a video of his attention-getting, space-saving Soho pad here), Dewey Chaffee actually had to work with practically no space. But he made himself and his partner a pretty cozy abode by lofting the entire floor and putting a bed below and an office above, while hanging costumes from the ceiling and using the window like a bookshelf. Check out the endearing video. [CurbedWire Inbox]
