Well, this week's PriceSpotter certainly elicited a lot of opinions, mostly of the negative variety (not to mention a few cheaters). That said, the very first comment was also the first to guess the correct asking price of $1.1 million. No one liked the layout, the renovation ("In Italy we say: plaster and painting make a good impression...and it's so true here in NY"), or the building, which was quickly identified as 275 Greenwich Street by a couple readers. Our favorite reaction came from Racist_Prick: "Kind of oddly shaped"???! horrible. Should be/could be 975 psqft, but discount for ugly cabinets, ridiculous floorplan/shape and seriously? That fixture over the dining table, you couldn't move it correctly? I'd love a half bath in a 1 bedroom though. $875,000 and in this market that's crazy crazy low but, screw this place." So... any takers?
