Hudson River Park Watch

New, 8 comments

The debate over how to save the financially sinking Hudson River Park raged on at a community board meeting last night. The park's trust proposed creating a Hudson River Park Neighborhood Improvement District in which residents and businesses would be taxed to raise $10 million for the park. Naturally, the neighbors aren't too taken with this idea. No vote was made, but the board decide to host another meeting in a larger location to let more people voice their opinions.
