In Contract Like Whoa

New, 10 comments

Olshan Realty delivered an update today about the robust sales at 56 Leonard, which started with a bang after listings at the long-stalled Herzog & de Meuron-designed tower started to appear last month. The group reports that the contracts it signed between March 4 and 10 totaled $326,738,000 (wowza), and that the "biggest contributor was 56 Leonard, where 16 contracts totaling $98.4 million were signed off floorplans, this despite being 2 to 3 years away from completion." Seems that all the delays didn't do anything to quash the interest of those lusting after this zig-zaggy skyscraper o' glass... before it's even done.
