Coney Update-o-Rama

New, 1 comment

The pedestrian plaza craze has reached Coney Island. The Department of Transportation wants to turn a block of southern Stillwell Avenue into a plaza with the standard moveable tables, chairs, and planters. The section is currently a dead-end abutting the boardwalk, but it holds 15 metered parking spaces that people aren't too keen on losing. [NYP]
