Welcome to Cornerspotter, Curbed's game in which you try to identify the location and/or identity of a particular building or streetscape in a historic photograph. Impress us and your fellow Curbed readers with your uncanny insight into New York City and its past!

This street still exists, but this section was renamed and reshaped more than seven decades ago. Of the buildings pictured in the photo, which was taken at the beginning of the 20th century, one significant structure remains along this street, but the buildings along the other side have been wiped out and replaced by a public open space.
