The Coney Island History Project, flooded during Hurricane Sandy, is reopening next weekend, and exhibits will include artifacts of the storm. The building took months to reopen because it filled up with four feet of floodwater, and it took time to dry out even the documents the archive was able to save. The exhibit will be open weekends from Memorial Day through Labor Day, plus a few dates between now and Memorial Day. [Brokelyn]
