Reps for Alchemy Properties' new condo 35XV at 35 West 15th Street sent over a teaser rendering of the building yesterday, and now the whole shebang has been unveiled. The full website went live with listings, renderings, and floorplans, and 14 of the 55 units are already in contract. Available units range from a 917-square-foot 1BR/1BA listed for $1.695 million to a 3,831-square-foot 4BR/3.5BA asking $11.5 million. Most units are 3BR/3.5BAs ranging in size from about 2,000- to 2,600-square-feet. As the condo sits atop a high school, the homes start on the eighth floor, about 100 feet above street level. The penthouse, a three-bedroom on the 24th floor that was listed for $8.95 million, has already sold.
Building amenities are pretty standard; there's a fitness center, a 75-foot-wide terrace, residents lounge, a wine cellar with locked storage, and a children's play room. There's only one unit with private outdoor space, and it's a three-bedroom on the 18th floor with an 842-square-foot private terrace (it's still available for $7.2 million). FXFOWLE designed the building, and Benjamin Noriega-Ortiz did the interiors. Kitchens have lacquer Poggenpohl cabinetry, marble countertops and backsplashes, Miele appliances, sub-zero wine coolers, and each unit comes with a vented Miele washer/dryer. Move-ins should start in mid-2014.
