In the Rezone

New, 4 comments

As expected, the full City Council granted its approval today to the Hudson Square rezoning proposal. This means developers in the area, including the major property owner Trinity Real Estate, can move forward with their plans for more residential and hotel space (here are some redevelopment possibilities). Some folks have been worried about the future of the South Village as a result of redevelopment, and the Council will vote on the area's potential landmarking as part of the Hudson Square rezoning approval.
