New York City was granted $1.77B in Hurricane Sandy relief funds, and the city is now detailing how they hope to distribute it. $350M will go toward to fixing single-family houses, $250M to multi-family buildings, and $120M to public housing. $100M will be available to 1,300 businesses in the form of grants for repairs, and $85M will be for businesses to implement 'resiliency measures.'
